Can I bring my own mobile home onto site?

No. we only sell mobiles on site.

Do you have mobiles for sale on site?

Yes each year, we would have a number of mobiles for sale on site - check the sales pages below:

Do you have an upgrade policy?

Unlike most other parks that have an upgrade policy of 10-12 years, our policy is based on the condition of your mobile.  If you are in a position to upgrade your mobile, please ensure to contact us first as there is a change over charge and for our suppliers name.

Can I sell my mobile myself when I am finished with it?

No, mobiles can only be sold through the management of Laburnum & Cahore Mobile Home Park.

Can I transfer my site to another family member when I no longer have use for it?

Sites are not transferable for any reason.

What are the ongoing costs?

  • License fee which is presently €2500 for Laburnum Caravan Park and €2900 for Cahore.

  • Mobile Home insurance to protect against storm/theft etc.

  • Electricity; each unit is fitted with a locked meter. Reading is taken at end of season and invoice issued for amount of ESB used. (no standing charge applies. Only unit cost plus vat).

Can I supply/build my own decking?

No - all decking's are supplied by Laburnum Caravan Parks Ltd and are built to specification.

Do you allow dogs?

Yes, we do but we have strict rules pertaining to same.  Only the registered owner of the mobile can  bring their dog.  No other family member or friend are permitted to bring dogs onto site. The following dogs are not permitted; American Pitbull terrier, Bull Mastiff, Staffordshire Bull Terrier, German Shepherd, Japanese Akita, Rhodesian Ridgeback,
Doberman Pinscher, Rottweiler, English Bull Terrier, Japanese Tosa or any dog with a tendency to be cross around children or other dogs.

Is there a curfew for children/teenagers?

Yes, July & August, all children and teenagers must be off site by 11.30 sharp. Other times of year at darkness.  We are very strict on this as we want all people to enjoy our facilities.

All other details are provided in our Terms & Conditions. An agreement form is required each year at renewal confirming acceptance of site terms. Failure to comply with terms & conditions of park will result in termination of license.
